Alpha

Alpha is a relaxed, informative course. It is a place to share thoughts and explore the meaning of life. The course is designed primarily for people who don’t go to church or who haven’t been to church in a long time and are interested in the Christian faith.

We’ve been running Alpha at St Michael’s for many years, and hundreds of people have enjoyed the course.

We meet once a week for 8 weeks, share food together, listen to a talk and then split into small groups for open, honest discussion. Alpha is a place where no subject is off limits, and no question is too silly, too difficult or too controversial.

Alpha at St Michael’s is held on Wednesday evenings with dinner.

There is no charge for Alpha, but we do invite guests to make a donation towards the cost of the food and drink if they wish.
