Would you be interested in leading our young adults ministry?

We’re looking for someone to co-ordinate our support and discipleship of the 18-25 demographic of St Michael’s Church.

 

We are looking for someone who is

  • Passionate about enabling people to meet with Jesus.
  • Able to organise a team to work alongside you.
  • To work towords building a strong foundation for long-term young adults ministry.

Depending on your circumstances, we could offer;

  • Accommodation and board
  • Weekly living expenses
  • Qualification in theology to either A-level or degree level.
  • Weekly hours to suit you
  • Strong support from an experienced ministry team

Student & 20’s Ministry Intern

Want to make a difference with your life? Want to be equipped to lead in the future, whilst making an impact today? We are looking for someone keen to learn about ministry, leadership and service to become our new Student & 20’s ministry intern.

This internship builds on our strong links with University of the West of England, it’s CU and other student churches of the area to disciple and reach out to our student community. You will also play a key part in running our 20’s life group ensuring continued pastoral care and discipleship with this group.

You will be teachable, good with people and have some experience of ministry.

We can offer you accommodation, all expenses paid and a qualification in theology for all positions.

  • Youth ministry internship
  • Student and 20’s ministry internship

Want to make a difference with your life? Want to be equipped to lead in the future, whilst making an impact today? We are looking for our 3 key members of our team to join the church’s Emerging Generations team.

Our 2 youth ministry vacancies will play a significant part in our plan to share the Gospel with 20,000 young people over 5 years, as well as mentoring 480 pupils and hosting a prayer room for 4,000+ students. You will work with around 95 young people each week through a variety of different clubs and activities.

Assistant youth minister – Working alongside the youth minister, you will take responsibility for the delivery and leadership of key elements of our youthwork. Partnering with South West Youth Ministries, you will gain a BA hons in applied theology and youthwork over 3 years.

Youth ministry internship – A year adapted to you, in order to develop your gifts including opportunities for; leadership, preaching, healing, missionary work, church planting, worship leading, schools work, sports ministries, managing teams, mentoring, teaching and more.

Students welcome

St Michael’s welcomes all new and returning students to Bristol.

Details of student events, groups, meals, services and the church student team can all be found on the students pages of this website.

There are opportunities for other church members to host or cater for student lunches and the welcome tea over the weeks ahead.

We will also be praying for all those students from St Michael’s who are now heading to universities and colleges elsewhere in the UK.
