The church weekend and a slightly different Sunday

It is the St Michael’s church weekend this weekend (you may have noticed).

Friday 7- Sunday 9 June

As well as a feast of fellowship, teaching, worship and activities for those who signed up for the weekend, there are some good things in store for all of us on Sunday morning too.

Church weekend

The church weekend begins on Friday evening with a roving meal.

We are meeting at the Old School Rooms at 6.30pm.

The timetable for the rest of the weekend is in this information leaflet.

Sunday services

The nine o’clock service will be communion in the church building as normal.

We have two options at the 1030 service…

Our guest speakers for the weekend – Tim and Hils Grew – will be preaching in the church.

Our youth team will be leading a Praise Party in the Old School Rooms.

There won’t be any change-over at 1050, and there are no separate groups for the children – just a big party in the Old School Rooms right through till 1200. So we will all need to choose one venue or the other for the whole service.

For those who would like to be at both we suggest going the Praise Party on Sunday morning and then downloading the talks from the website.

For those with a phobia of inflatable air guitars and actions, we suggest staying safely in church.

After the 1030 service we are planning a picnic on the green (or inside if it is too cold and wet…) for all of us together.

Please bring your own picnic and we can spend time together as we eat.
