The team are back to cook a delicious cooked breakfast for us, now cooked in the new kitchen in St Michael’s Centre.
We will be gathering in the auditorium to eat together, followed by a talk. Each month we will have a different speaker on a range of topics.
This month we welcome Martin Riddall from the Armed Forces Christian Union.
Martin joined the RAF aged 17 right out of school. It was whilst he was still serving that he become a Christian which had a profound impact on his life. A few years later Martin left the RAF and went to work for a Christian youth agency where he was involved in helping teenagers to explore The Christian Message of hope for themselves. This led to him working with university students and then in a bizarre turn of events back to the military where he now works as the membership Development Officer for the Armed Forces Christian Union (AFCU).
