We’re so excited for Church on the Green this Sunday! For this week only, there won’t be a 9am service in Church, or a 10.30 Celebration in St Michael’s Centre. Instead we’ll all meet together on The Green! The theme this year is “Welcomed, included, loved”. Come along on Sunday at 11am and be part of it! We also love to picnic together on the Green afterwards. And for those who enjoy Football, there is a screening of the England match in the Auditorium at 1pm. What a way to spend a Sunday!
This sunday is Pentecost and we’re having our annual open air service – now known as Church on the Green!
For this week only, there’s no 9am or 10.30am service, and we’re meeting at 11am on the Green. If the weather is bad we’ll move inside – so do still come!
We’re really looking forward to it!
Each summer we hold an outdoor church celebration on the village green.
It’s an event for the whole community of Stoke Gifford, and a great chance for everyone – whether existing church members or not – to come along and share in church together.
Everyone is welcome and we bring and share picnics, and stay to chat and play games together afterwards.
It all starts at 11.00am on Sunday 26th June, and takes place on The Green, Stoke Gifford.
There will also be a parade for Uniform groups, starting from the Trust Hall and arriving at the Green in time for the start at 11am.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Please note, for this one Sunday only, this service replaces the 9am and 10.30am service
