Office Move

This weekend, the Church Admin Office moves from it’s existing location in the Old School Rooms, to it’s new location at the front of the new Church centre.   This early move is to enable the builders to turn the old office into a corridor.

We also have a new phone system in place, which should make it easier for you to contact the right people and/or leave a message. Our telephone number remains the same. And you can still contact us via email.  Please bear with us whilst we settle into our new “home” and sort out the logistics of keeping everything running smoothly!

Coffee Shop Volunteering Opportunities

The Old School Rooms Coffee Shop is an important part of the work of St Michael’s Church, and has a fantastic group of volunteers working in it. To continue to serve the community we need at least 20 volunteers a week, every week. Most volunteers work a 4 hour shift once a week (or once a month if working on Saturday). This is a great way to get to know people in the church and the local community.

Is this something you feel you would like to be part of?  If so, please do get in touch. Email coffeeshop@stmichaelsbristol.org or why not have a chat with Ann Cooke, Coffee Shop Manager, when you next drop in for Coffee?

Saturday Breakfast

This weekend sees the first Saturday Breakfast of 2015.

For only £2 per person (free if it’s your first time)  you get a delicious breakfast, followed by a presentation from an interesting speaker.  Why not come along?  This month we hear from the Foodbanks,

8.00am in the Old School Rooms

Coffee Shop 10 year anniversary

The Old School Rooms Coffee Shop is celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year.

We are trying to make contact with everyone who has volunteered in the coffee shop over that first decade.

If you have volunteered in the Coffee Shop at any time, and have not already heard from the manager, please contact Ann on 07866 230647 (please leave a message) or by email
