Alpha Course

John Archer has been described as “one of the funniest men I know” by comedian Tim Vine, he has sold out Fringe shows, he’s appeared on national television and was the first person to fool Penn & Teller on their ITV show. John Archer performed here at St Michael’s in November and is also coming back!  He’ll be performing his brilliant mix of comedy and tricks, and providing a great introduction to our next Alpha Course on Wednesday 16 January.

Free entry and free food!  All welcome but advance booking is essential. Booking closes 12 January

Alpha happens all over the world

We’ve been running the course at St Michael’s for many years, and hundreds of people have enjoyed the course here.

We meet once a week for 8 weeks, share food together, listen to a talk and then split into small groups for open, honest discussion. Alpha is a place where no subject is off limits, and no question is too silly, too difficult or too controversial.

Alpha at St Michael’s is held on Wednesday evenings with dinner. There is no charge for Alpha, but we do invite guests to make a donation towards the cost of the food and drink if they wish.
