Giving

The work of St Michael’s Church is supported entirely by the generosity of those who give. We’re all able to contribute in various ways – by sharing our time, our skills and our income.

Generosity

Our experience as a church tells us that God provides for us with astonishing generosity. And as we trust Him more, we are better able to join in with that culture of generosity. Many church members use the Christian tradition of ‘tithing’ (giving away 10% of our income) as a guideline for our own regular giving to God’s work through his people, the church. But we ask everyone to think and pray carefully as we choose the right level of giving for us each year.

To find out more about the ways you can give, and how our donations are allocated to the different areas of church life, please ask to speak to one of the finance team. Similarly, if you have a talent or some time you’d like to offer as a volunteer, one of the leadership team will gladly talk through the many possible opportunities to play your part.
