Children’s Ministry

The vision of St Michael’s Children is:

Journeying with Children and families as they learn about God, grow in their faith and serve and share Jesus with others

Our sessions are for ages 0 to 11

You can join us for the following groups

Sunday Club

For parents with little ones aged 0-3, Creche is designed for parents with little ones to sit in comfort with others. A Creche leader will organise the group. Toys and crafts will be put out for children and the service will be streamed live for parents to watch. Alternatively, you can chat with others in the room.

Bubbles is a group for children who are aged between 3 and school reception age.

A Bubbles leader will set out fun and engaging activities for the children, they will hear a bible story and learn about Jesus together. This group is designed for parents/carers to leave their child/children for the session, so it requires them to be independent and self-sufficient in the bathroom. Please contact Iain if you would like to discuss your child/children’s needs

For children who are in school years 1-6, we have our kidz club.

Run by some lovely Kidz Club leaders, our all-together sessions are designed to praise and worship Jesus. Exploring the Bible through stories, games, activities and sharing.

Smaller discussion groups and prayers will also be included. Snacks and drinks will be included in our sessions

This session is designed for parents to leave their children

Beehive is an opportunity for Parents and carers of young children to come and socialise and meet others. Toys, games, craft & Bible stories are all part of our sessions.

Messy Church

Messy church does what it says on the tin. This is church for people who find sitting still and being quiet impossible. It’s fun, there’s noise, we make stuff, there’s food and there’s lots of mess.

Messy Church enables people of all ages to belong to Christ together through their local church. It is a way of being
church which is particularly suited to families, but welcoming to all. It meets at a time and on a day that suits local families and is particularly aimed at people who have never belonged to a church before.

The next events for Messy Church are:

(Messy Church is part of The Bible Reading Fellowship (BRF), a Registered Charity.
