Groups

Monday Men  is for men of any age held weekly on a Monday between 10am and 12 noon. We enjoy quizzes and a general chat with a coffee or tea and chocolate, and there are occasional visits to interesting places. We meet in the church centre.  Contact Ian or Derek via the office with any queries.

Saturday Men First Saturday morning of the month. We meet in the church centre. Our key theme is answering the question ‘how are you?’ openly and honestly. A place for men to  take a risk sharing what is actually going on, the genuine difficulties, fears and doubts they face  But it is not all heavy –  we also laugh together and often spend time chatting and getting to know each other as friends.

‘Fires’ This is a new initiative inspired by the Wild at Heart team https://wildatheart.org/fires/   It  simply involves a group of guys  hanging out around a fire-pit for a couple of hours, no great agenda – telling stories about our lives, deepening friendships and growing closer to God, possibly with a beer. Currently we have one ‘Fire’ running monthly.  If you’d like to find out more contact tom.benyon@stmichaelsbristol.org
