Are you feeling that Christmas is a difficult time for you?
Why not join us on Monday 6 December at 7 30pm at St Michael’s Church, Stoke Gifford, or online on youtube ( link will be posted here nearer the date)
We would like to invite you to ‘Blue Christmas’ where you can, with others, acknowledge the “blue” feelings that can come during the Christmas season. It’s an opportunity to use a calm and reflective space to recognise our feelings, to honour them and to offer them to God for healing and transformation. To find hope and Emmanuel (God with us)in the midst of darkness.
We will be using the Advent wreath to focus our thoughts and prayers and to draw close to God; remembering that his son, Jesus, brought light into the world. The light of hope, the light of strength and the light of peace.
There will be stories, music, prayers, poems and space for contemplation. At the end of our time together, there will be light refreshments and access to prayer ministry.
An event from the Hope for the Future and Kintsugi Hope teams at St Michael’s Church.
