Blue Christmas

Are you feeling that Christmas is a difficult time for you?

Why not join us on Monday 6 December at 7 30pm at St Michael’s Church, Stoke Gifford, or online on youtube ( link will be posted here nearer the date)

We would like to invite you to ‘Blue Christmas’ where you can, with others, acknowledge the “blue” feelings that can come during the Christmas season. It’s an opportunity to use a calm and reflective space to recognise our feelings, to honour them and to offer them to God for healing and transformation. To find hope and Emmanuel (God with us)in the midst of darkness.

We will be using the Advent wreath to focus our thoughts and prayers and to draw close to God; remembering that his son, Jesus, brought light into the world. The light of hope, the light of strength and the light of peace.

There will be stories, music, prayers, poems and space for contemplation. At the end of our time together, there will be light refreshments and access to prayer ministry.

An event from the Hope for the Future and Kintsugi Hope teams at St Michael’s Church.

Christmas Fair 2021

Saturday 27 November 11am-2.30pm

A wonderful event for the community, with stalls galore and fun for everyone.

A great chance to do some Christmas shopping whilst having a lovely time!

We’ve even been able to secure a visit from Father Christmas himself. Come along and join the festive fun!
Please wear a face-covering if you can.

Messy Church – Countdown to Christmas

Please join us for another great session of Messy Church. Our theme Countdown to Christmas will be looking at the way in which Angels feature in the Bible in the run up to the birth of Jesus. Together we will move around specially designed stations that help us think about how we can share the good news of Jesus.

Our 2 course tea will be Sausage, Chips & Beans with a sweet treat for pudding. Please advise of any allergies or special requirements.

Booking is essential for both adults and children who wish to attend. Please try to come for the whole session.

We will be moving around in groups so please do tell us who you would like to be bubbled with?

We look forward to seeing you soon
