The Old School Rooms Coffee Shop
We are pleased to say that The Old School Rooms Coffee Shop will be open for indoor table service from Monday 3 August.
We are expanding our menu (subject to stock availability).
Following government advice there will be a limited number of tables available indoors. You will be warmly welcomed and shown to a table, but we ask you to wear a face covering until seated at the table and also when leaving. Our outdoor ordering service will also be available, subject to the weather!
Opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am to 4pm, with lunches served from 12-2pm.
We will continue to take payment and serve from the outside entrance. Takeaway and outside seating will still be available.
Thank you for all your support.
Our coffee shop provides a delicious selection of drinks, cakes and light lunches right in the heart of Stoke Gifford.
It’s a modern, stylish café with an excellent reputation, both for the quality of the refreshments and the warmth of the welcome.
The relaxed atmosphere, the professionalism of the staff and the quality of our cappuccinos and cakes mean that many of our customers enjoy meeting here week after week.
You’ll find the coffee shop right next to the village green in the heart of Stoke Gifford. It’s located in the main hall of beautifully adapted victorian village school rooms, which now form part of the St Michael’s Church Centre.
We look forward to making you welcome.
Monday – Friday
10:30 – 16:30
Our summer menu will be available soon!
The coffee shop is run to the highest standards of quality and food hygiene by a professional manager. But, as a not-for-profit community facility, many of our trained staff are volunteers.
There are always opportunities for local people to support the work of the coffee shop by giving some time each week to keep things running smoothly. This could be as little as just a couple of hours washing up, or several half days a week making cappuccinos and lattes.
Full training is provided.
Please contact the coffee shop manager if you would like to find out more.
