The Bible tells us that God is able to do “immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine” (Ephesians 3:20). The generosity of Jesus is greater than we can measure, and as Christians, we reflect that generosity in our own lives.

At St Michael’s, everything we do is sustained by God’s provision through our giving—our worship, our ministry with children and young people, our care for one another, and our outreach into the community. All of these things have a cost, and our giving is one of the ways God provides for them.

This Gift Day, we’re asking each of us to prayerfully consider our giving. Perhaps you could:

• Begin giving monthly
• Increase your regular giving to help it keep pace with rising costs
• Make a one-off gift to help bridge our potential £50,000 deficit

This deficit is the difference between what it costs to deliver the ministry and mission of St Michael’s and the regular monthly donations we receive. Every donation helps, regardless of size.

So on this Gift Day, let’s give generously. Let’s give joyfully. And let’s trust the God who is able to do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine.
